ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

IMG_8596.jpeg

My name is Ava Choi and I am a junior at Beverly Hills High School in Los Angeles, California. Human rights, equality, and diversity are a significant interest of mine, especially when it comes to business. I am involved in multiple diversity and business-related clubs at my school, and I want to learn more about the topic by starting my own website, yourbusinessourrights.com.

Growing up in a Korean household, I became aware of the challenges that underrepresented groups face in business settings. My family’s experiences, along with my own, have inspired me to explore the convergence of business, diversity, and social justice.

As I prepare for college, and especially amid corporate pushback against DEI, I am committed to studying business to learn how enterprises can create inclusive environments and ensure opportunities for all employees, regardless of their background.

With this website, I plan to connect people and companies who are enthusiastic about advancing human rights and diversity in the workplace. By emphasizing educational resources, I hope to increase awareness of the ways in which companies may support minority groups. This project is a chance to raise awareness of these important discussions and contribute to improving the business environment.

We believe in the potential of every individual to stand up for their rights, advocate for change, and contribute to a world where human rights are upheld for all.
